DO YOU HAVE THESE THINGS IN YOUR BAG?
Let’s face it, as a Cheerleading Coach, you know at least one of your athletes will forget something they need on game day or comp day. Whether it’s a bobby pin or their uniform, someone is going to need something. So while we may not all be fortunate enough to have an abundance of spare uniforms available, you can be prepared for the other things they’ll likely forget. So in this article, we’re listing the things we include in our Cheer Coach Bag just in case one of our athlete’s needs them.
23 things every Coach needs to have in their Cheer Coach Bag
- bobby pins
- hair ties
- hail oil
- edge control
- hair gel
- hair spray
- bandaids
- tylenol
- makeup removing wipes
- nail polish remover
- small sewing kit
- extra hair bow
- extra pair of socks
- spray deodorant
- safety pins
- tide pen
- extra makeup
- tampons
- pads
- panty liners
- hair brush
- body spray
- body lotion
& that list could go on. Honestly, we’re never surprised by the things our athlete’s say they’ve forgotten and while we try to have the most common things with us at all times, it’s just not possible. To try to help them to be better prepared, we give our teams a checklist at the beginning of the season that includes the things they’ll need for game days and comp days. It is our hope that they refer to that list each time they’re packing their bags. It’s not perfect, but it has helped. & as a thank you for reading this article, we’re giving away a free checklist for game days and comp days. The list is blank so you can fill it in with the things your team needs. Use it for yourself or share it with your team! Sign-up below and we’ll send the list straight to your inbox!
